The 20th Annual Champion's Luncheon honoring the Arizona Football Coaches Association selections for the All-State Top 25 players and the six division-winning high school coaches was Friday, January 11th at the Scottsdale Hilton Resort.

2012 High School Champion's Luncheon
The 19th Annual Luncheon honored the Arizona Football Coaches Association selections for the All-State Top 25 players and the six division-winning high school coaches: John Bryant of Joseph City (Div. VI), Rhett Stallworth of Yuma Catholic (V), Paul Moro of Blue Ridge (IV), John Sanders of Saguaro (III), Charlie Ragle of Chaparral (II), and Dan Hinds of Desert Vista (I).
Notre Dame Prep Head Coach Scot Bemis and his coaching staff were honored with the Earl Putman Dedicated Coaching Award, and four high school athletes will receive best-in-Arizona awards. They were Michael Arredondo of Desert Vista, the Ron Pritchard Linebacker Award, Connor Brewer of Chaparral, the Danny White Quarterback Award, Jaxon Hood of Hamilton, the Curley Culp Defensive Lineman Award, and Andrus Peat of Corona de Sol, the Frank Kush Offensive
Lineman Award.
Valley of the Sun Arizona High School Champions Luncheon also featured speaking appearances by each of the newly-hired local head coaches, Todd Graham of Arizona State University and Rich Rodriguez of the University of Arizona.
The luncheon was sponsored by Sheriff’s Youth Association Foundation, with specials thanks to Right Honda, Lerner and Rowe, Alliance Beverage, Native New Yorker, Valle Luna Mexican Food and Cantinas, Fetch Promotions, The Fan AM 1060, AZGamecast.com, Dr. Dan Lucas, JFG Consulting and American Youth Services. The event at the Scottsdale Hilton Resort and Villas was sold out.
