Welcome from the Executive Director
I feel very privileged and honored to assume the Valley of the Sun Chapter Executive Director position. We have had a great history of effective leaders in this position and I will do my best to uphold the traditions and the quality that have gone before me.
While change can be an intimidating factor it can also open new roads and opportunities that might not have been available in the past. The leaders in this chapter are committed to doing what is best for members and the future of the foundation.
As your Executive Director, I will try to keep you informed and I am here to listen to your concerns and to assure you that all decisions will be well thought out and considered before action is taken.
Furthermore, we are always seeking new members to continue our growth-specifically, fundraisers! Additionally, the need for volunteers remains very high and we welcome any and all inquiries that you may have about becoming a volunteer.
I would welcome your input on things that we should be doing to more effectively serve you. Working together we can do great things and even have some fun along the way.
Please follow us on our website, Facebook and Twitter pages as you will see many changes to it over the next few months.
Sincerely,
Mike Muraco, aka Roc, Executive Director
